We will provide you with an all inclusive proposal that includes all the components of the project. We believe that providing the client with a total cost proposal as opposed to a time and materials proposal is more conducive in establishing a realistic budget for the client. We offer an itemized breakdown which allows the customer to compare “apples to apples” with other proposals. We believe this method reduces the number of extra work/change orders during the course of the project which could impact the total budget. We prefer discussing all potential issues before the project begins rather than deal with it at a later date. This can be a problem with other contractors when the initial cost is lower and then it is “made up” later with change orders because omissions were made. Always be wary of the contractor with the lowest bid.

Having been in the business in Broward County for over 35 years has allowed Ziegler Builders to gain extensive experience in residential home building from moderately priced projects to multi-million dollar residences. This includes extensive remodeling projects, as well as the construction of over 900 new homes. We have completed numerous commercial projects as well. The Pre-Bid Meeting Process
Upon receiving the opportunity to bid a project we immediately schedule an on-site Pre-Bid Meeting.
The purpose of the Pre-Bid Meeting is to have all members of the Build Team, employees and subcontractors, all meet together to examine the conditions of the project.
This is where existing conditions are examined and special conditions are identified.
We are able to make suggestions and share value engineering ideas with other members of team as well as the Architectural Design Professional.
This process allows us to prepare detailed proposals that will depict accurate pricing for the entire project.
This method has proven to be successful in ensuring all members of the Build Team have complete familiarity with the project that allow for a accurate and professional proposals process as well having identified potential issues as we transition into the construction process.
